Beautiful photos. Looks like this is the same palm.
I think so… birds go crazy for the stuff but I don’t think its edible (for us).
However, there is a variety of this palm that is supposed to be the next “superfood”:

Yeah specially the Black-hooded Orioles and Koels feast on those.
